A man from the South Hams has been cleared of raping and sexually abusing a girl when she was aged 13 to 15.
Martyn Gray, 36, of Cotmore Way, Chillington, near Kingsbridge, was found not guilty of a total of 12 counts by a jury at Exeter Crown Court.
Gray had been accused of sexually assaulting and raping the same complainant when she was in her teens.
The jury took less than two hours to find him not guilty of all charges. He was discharged by Judge Timothy Rose and walked free from the court.
He had been accused of one count of rape and 11 of either inciting or taking part in sexual activity with a child.
He nodded in approval in the dock as the foreman of the jury delivered each of the verdicts.
