Two fire engines were called to reports of a plume of black smoke coming from a derelict building in Totnes.

The call came at 4.30am on Sunday April 21 and on arrival the crews saw flames coming from the first floor and decided to call up four more engines and a 4x4 vehicle.

The incident ended just after 9am.
