There was a fatal collision on the A38 this morning between Marsh Mills and Leigham.

Police were called to the area just before 7am.

There were significant traffic delays on the A38.

A police spokesperson said “A man has been confirmed dead at the scene. All lanes have now reopened.

Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.”

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area around that time and may have relevant dash cam footage.
