A South Hams restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Whistling Chef, Pennymoor Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Pennymoor Bits & Bites, Modbury was given the maximum score after assessment on December 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of South Hams's 190 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 166 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
