The longstanding Totnes10k race returns on August 4 at 11am.
The challenge is nearly all off-road alongside the beautiful River Dart.
It starts and finishes on Borough Park and typically sells out when it reached 600 runners.
The Race Director Rod Payne said: "Its a great summer event with plenty of prizes, childrens one miler, music, cakes, BBQ, and plenty of friendly marshalls.
Teignbridge Trotters Running Club are proud to continue their relationship with Totnes Caring who have supported the race for a number of years.
Totnes Caring is a local charity doing fantastic work benefiting the elderly in Totnes.
During the association with this charity the race has raised over £28,000 in support of their work."
This year they have decided that the revised route, most recently forced upon them because of erosion, will become the permanent course for the foreseeable future. In recognition of this we have reset the course records based upon times recorded over the previous two years on the new course. There is now a real incentive for you to come along and set a new record for the course.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Again they are offering an extensive list of prizes.
There are awards for the first five males and female finishers.
They also offer prizes to the 1st and 2nd male and female in each vet category (every five years) up to 70.
They also have an U18 category and prizes for the first two men's teams (six to count) and ladies's teams (four to count).
Presentations will take place at 12.45pm.
They are proud to continue their relationship with Totnes Caring who have supported the race for a number of years.
They will once again be staging a 1-mile Fun Run around the perimeter of Borough Park starting at 10.15am.
The race is always popular and provides an opportunity to complete a safe, measured 1-mile course.
