THE two men’s finalists from 2024 rolled the first bowl of the new season at Totnes Bowling Club on Saturday, April 5 in sunny conditions.
On the day, numerous members turned out to get involved in a friendly, roll-up session with the club set to be even more involved in a variety of different competitions this time around.
In addition to the various competitions, the club is involved in a variety of friendly matches against other local clubs. They have games against touring clubs from other parts of the UK.
Plenty is planned for the year ahead with it being a special one, the centenary.
Above all, there are special games arranged as part of these centenary celebrations- in May, playing against a Devon Bowls Presidents team and also a game against Dawlish Lawns who were Totnes Club’s very first opponents when the club first opened in 1925.
