Totnes Rugby Club will be hosting a past players’ reunion day at their Borough Park club house on Saturday, February 24.
This coincides with the local derby match against rivals Dartmouth in the Devon One league. Kick off is at 2.30pm.
It is also an afternoon of Six Nations international rugby, which will be shown on the big screen.
Organiser and past player Mark Hooper said: “There are lots of old players who live in the town and have represented Totnes Rugby Club over the years. This is an open invitation for them to come along on and enjoy a buffet while meeting old friends, who they might have not seen for some years, and swapping tales about past games. The buffet starts at noon, so do please come along and enjoy the club’s facilities.”
Totnes RFC’s second XV the Legends entertained Exeter Enginners RFC at Borough Park last Saturday and in a thrilling match earned a well-earned 20-20 draw.
Scorers for the Legends were Ash Hill with a pushover try, Kev Lambert after a run down the wing, Ollie Tregellis from full back and a final try by veteran centre Nick Watts.
